Hey Bruce, hope all is well.

This recently surfaced on YT – a 1992 Radio 1 four-part documentary on the old gang, with plentiful contributions from yourself, Pete (complete with machine-gun laugh, and doing a hilarious impersonation of Britt Eckland), Jake Riviera, Nick Lowe and others.

    Stay groovy,

  2. Christopher Hjort says:

Hello, Bruce’s contact page does not work … any chance it will be up and running again?

  3. Bruce of America says:

Just noticed it was out this evening, sounds great. Reminds me a lot of Neil Innes for some reason. Congratulations.

    • Bruce says:

Not quite a much a pastiche as the Rutles — more an affectionate nod towards a golden era.

      • Bruce of America says:

I of course refer to the vocals and general sound, not the imitation.

Btw, The Attractions were mentioned in a question on the popular US game show “Jeopardy” today. A sure sign you’ve lodged yourselves deep into our culture.

      • Bruce says:

Oh yes – we come up in quizzes every so often.

  4. Mike Miller says:

For the bass playing fans in the audience a “bass up, everything else down” MP3 play along version available for download thru iTunes, Amazon or whatever would be a nice option.

  5. Bill Horvath says:

It’s a huge pleasure to hear those bass lines that can only come from the tips of Bruce’s fingers. Amazing work.

  6. David Witherington says:

Merry Christmas, Bruce! …and, man! This album is a power pop gem. Hooks, melodies, and great vocals from you guys on an outstanding debut, and your melodic bass provides the heartbeat to a truly fine batch of new pop songs. It’s been a long time since I’ve said that about anyone’s new album. Bravo! 🙂

  7. scotty says:

Congrats, Bruce! This is terrific news. Looking forward to a good listen.

  8. Mike Miller says:

Good move…I look forward to it.
